Single Garage With Gable Ended Roof

A single oak-framed garage that blends timeless design with practical space. With an internal floor area of 16.41m² (176.69 sq ft), it provides secure storage for one car or motorcycle while complementing both modern and period homes. Handcrafted from 100% European green oak, The Kent is erected on a 230mm high brick plinth and features a gable roof that allows optional loft flooring for extra storage.

Available with a wide range of finishes and add-ons including garage doors, windows, personnel doors, log stores, cladding, and roof coverings. We also provide expert advice on groundworks, brickwork, and staddle stones.

Frames arrive flat packed on an artic lorry. Smaller items may be delivered by van.

The Kent is ideal for protecting a car or motorcycle while blending seamlessly into modern or period homes. Traditional mortise and tenon joints, 150mm x 150mm posts and curved braces give strength and architectural detail, while the natural oak matures beautifully over time. The Kent also features front corner posts at 210 mm x 195 mm for additional rigidity.

The Kent can stand alone as a single bay garage or be developed into a bespoke design. Options include garage doors, personnel doors, windows or a log store, along with a wide choice of roofing in shaded red, shaded brown, oak shingles or cedar cladding. Finishes such as exterior cladding, ironmongery and interior treatments allow you to refine every detail.

Our team provides front and rear elevations so homeowners, architects and landscapers can visualise exactly how the finished size and proportions will complement a property.

Every single oak framed structure we build is crafted from European oak. No softwood components. Our posts, headers and bracing are traditionally jointed for strength and longevity.
